The Tolkien Forum at SF-FANDOM is the Web's oldest continuously active community of fans of J.R.R. Tolkien and the Inklings. Originally launched as the White Council, part of Xenite.Org in 1997, the Tolkien Forum was moved to SF-FANDOM in 2001 and renamed the Tolkien and Inklings Forum.

The archive of the White Council forum discussions is an extensive resource of fannish and scholarly discussions from the original Xenite.Org Tolkien community.

Discussions of Peter Jackson's The Lord of the Rings movies have been moved to the Lord of the Rings movie forum.
